We respect your option to shop and compare. When doing so, it is very important to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. There are many differences that are difficult to see at the initial selection that can become very evident days, or weeks, after the purchase. Prescription Lenses

Do Not settle for lower quality materials, inferior design, or leaving off protective lens treatments to reduce the cost of the overall product. We are optical professionals and we use only the finest products available to provide you with the most comfortable and clearest eyesight. At Olson Eye Care there are many factors that go into the selection of your lens material, design, and lens treatments recommended. Online vendors do not know you, your face shape, or where your pupil will be in relation to the lens in that frame when properly adjusted. Nor do they know the position of things in your life that you look at most frequently. Optically speaking one or two millimeters can be the difference between visual success and failure in some prescriptions. Online vendors often use inferior products, because initially it is difficult for the consumer to tell the difference. The old line “you get what you pay for” is very true in the eye care industry.

* Lens quality and design determines how well you will be able to see. At Olson Eye Care we perform your eye exam with the consideration in mind that the best products in combination with our detailed refraction and measurements will provide the best visual experience.

Frames

At Olson Eye Care, we offer the latest and greatest in eyewear fashion and technology with a wide selection for men, women, and children. Frame prices can range from $50 – $500 depending on the materials and technology involved in the frame. Our Optical Fashion Specialist will help you find the perfect style, size, and color fitting your personality and lifestyle.

It is important to compare material quality, technology, and proper fit. Our Optical Fashion Specialists perform several precise measurements of your eyes and facial features which are used to place your eyeglass order. A PD measurement alone is not enough to make a good pair of glasses. The measurements required to make custom eyewear are the responsibility of the vendor. We take full responsibility of our measurements and the eyewear we produce for our patients, but we can not accept the responsibility for other vendors. Therefore, we do not provide our proprietary measurements to other sellers.

* Our Optical Fashion Specialists are trained to find frames that best fit and compliment your face, as well as selecting the correct lens style designed to maximize vision for your personal prescription.

Vision Plan Insurance

We accept most major vision plans. Most online vendors and optical stores do not. We are in-network providers for most major vision plans and we as a courtesy can check your benefits and accept payments directly from your plan. We do need the primary plan holder’s personal information in order to check benefits at least one business day ahead of the scheduled visit.
